Overview of Our Meat Sauces

The sauces for steak, beef, lamb, and pork from Fortun Foods are finishing sauces, meaning you add them after the meal is already prepared. This type of sauce for steak is already cooked, so you only need to heat it before pouring it over the beef dish. You can also cook these sauces with the meal under low heat to ensure the sauce does not boil.

Now you can enhance any cut of meat, be it beef, lamb or pork with our quick and easy to use beef sauces and sauces for meat from Fortun Foods.

Fortun Foods sauces are refrigerated after they are prepared and will remain fresh for 150 days if the package is unopened. They should be used within two weeks after opening the package. These sauces are best when served fresh, but you can also freeze them if you allow it to thaw in your refrigerator. The container is resealable, allowing you to use the sauce with multiple meals.

The sauces are sealed with Cryovac, meaning the air is removed from the pouch to prevent the growth of aerobic bacteria. Each pouch contains eight ounces of sauce, which is generally sufficient for four servings. This means that each serving should contain about two ounces of sauce, or four tablespoons.

Asian Style Pepper Sauce
Asian Style Pepper sauce contains beef stock, peppers and onions, and is seasoned with ginger, sake, and sesame oil. It is intended for beef stir fry dishes, which are common in Asian cuisine. Stir frying generally involves cooking the meat quickly in a wok under high heat. Steak stir fry dishes may be cooked with the chao or bao techniques. The chao technique is similar to sautéing, which requires pouring cold oil into a hot wok before adding the stir fry beef. The bao technique requires the ingredients in easy beef stir fry dishes to be continually tossed while they are cooking.

BBQ Sauce

Great Steak Recipe Using Four Pepper Sauce

The following recipe for a grilled New York strip steak uses Four Pepper sauce.

Heat a grill to at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit and allow four eight-ounce New York strip steaks to warm to room temperature for about 10 minutes. Season both sides with salt and pepper and cook the steaks for at least 2 ½ minutes on each side. Remove the steaks from the grill and allow them to cool for about five minutes on the serving plates.

Pour the entire contents of a package of Four Pepper Sauce into a saucepan and place it on medium heat. Heat the sauce for one to two minutes until it simmers, but do not allow it to boil. Spoon the sauce evenly over each of the four steaks and serve immediately. The best wines for this dish include a Cabernet Sauvignon or Zinfandel.

Veal Marsala Recipe Using Marsala and Mushroom Sauce

This recipe uses eight pieces of thinly-pounded veal weighing two to three ounces. Each serving includes two pieces of veal, providing four servings. Place a pan over medium heat and season the veal with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to the pan once it is hot and place the veal in the pan. Turn the pieces of veal over once, ensuring they are brown on both sides. Place the veal on serving plates and allow it to cool for two to three minutes.

Pour the package of Marsala & Mushroom sauce directly into the pan while it is still hot. Stir the meat juices thoroughly into the sauce and bring it to a summer without boiling it. Quick and Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Allow 1½ pounds of beef tips to warm to room temperature for about 10 minutes. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Season the beef tips with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add a half pound of Fusilli Col Bucco pasta to the pot and cook it until it reaches the "al dente" texture, which should require at least 10 minutes. Drain the pasta and place it in a large bowl.

Place a large pan on medium heat and add olive oil once the pan is hot. Place the beef tips in the pan and cook them for at least two minutes. Turn the beef tips over and cook them for at least two more minutes, ensuring the beef tips are thoroughly seared on both sides. Place the beef tips on a holding plate and allow them to cool for five minutes. Place the Stroganoff sauce in the pan and bring it to a simmer before adding the pasta. Toss the pasta thoroughly to ensure it is completely covered with the sauce and place the pasta on the serving plates. Place the beef tips on top of the pasta and serve immediately.
